URBAN DESIGN & VISUAL IMPACT ADVISE, LAKE WINDERMERE - Spindrift provided urban design and visual impact advise to a private client in relation to proposals for a marine extension on Lake Windermere. The issues reviewed included a review of the access from both land and water to public slipway facilities within the plans, and additionally the likely visual impact of boats within the marina extension. This dealt specifically with the issues of high sided motorboats and the likley docking areas used by different types of vessel.
